We had one of our cats put to sleep today, haven't cried this much in my life. She was a few days away from being 20 years old, vet said it was time. We're devastated. She was older than our daughter, and older than the relationship with my wife (she was her cat).

This is Marmite (16). He’s an absolute arse-hat and no-one likes him because he’s naughty, mean, and beats up our other cat Chilli (20), all because he gets FOMO about everything.
He had a leg ambulated 6 mths ago and it hasn’t slowed him down.
