My poor kitty has chronic kidney disease. She's 19 and was very healthy, but old age just got to her now.

I'm just really sad and I hate this. I will do what I can for her. I drew this, for her, and to share.
My love, my darling feline companion. I hope that I made you happy. I hope you I did right by you. I'm terribly sorry for all my misdeeds to you. Please forgive me. I hope and I will try to find you, once more, out there, in the Unknown, Nothing, Zerum. I love you, my kitty Kara.

Upon the wheat field, near the monoliths, do we gaze upon the stars, up at the webbed sky, our bodies awash in dim light. Music vibrates along the golden webs, and we feel at peace.
The Spire shines beyond us with its sickly white glow coming from ---. Monoliths scattered but standing in a wheat field. Stars emit from them and float upwards to form a webbed skyline. Kieran and Elxonal stand closer together, at peace with one another, watching the sky. Music is the gateway, music is the key. Music hums and loops endlessly around us, along the strands that connect us together. Elxonal and I hold each other's many hands/legs and gaze at each other's golden eyes, locked together forever.

We asked ourselves why we felt so alone, why we felt disconnected from the world, others, our family, even ourselves. With no dreams, no goals, no wants or true desires, we became apathetic to the future. We didn't see any kind of future. We told ourselves at a young age, that we'd soon depart from this place, to return home. Milestones passed us by; schooling, turning of age to drink, moving states, our first real relationship, our first job, all the things between, our thirty birthday. Yet we feel as though we do not belong here. Never have. To this day, there is no future in our head, no point to it all. We do not belong, we are split from another timeline, in which this didn't happen, in where we didn't exist. What even is home? What is this urge to return to the Unknown?
