This is a a very critical and clear-eyed piece of analysis about where things are headed (well, hopefully not) workforce planning-wise. Well worth your time.

“No one cares about your method” is one of the most insane things I’ve read in academia.
I've never seen this figure or sentiment before. But it makes me want to vomit. The intro and discussion are the least important parts of the paper. Methods rule. Results are meaningless without clear and logical methods. If a mentor suggests this, find a better mentor.
