Science is factual and might as well be another language for them. But more likely 'big oil' got their lobbyists paying out big notes because greed and money is what they definitely understand.

They should be taxed as 'betting' funds. Call them what they are, upmarket betting shops for Oligarchs.

Agreed, but contemplating that is strange when Labour are thinking of taking away the legal right to appeal in courts and encouraging the ECHR to change its laws on human rights.
