I’ll end my late-night rant here, but please know that if it seems like I’m silent, it’s likely I’m screaming my head off in other places (like my therapists office or the shower) or platforms. 🧡

I share politics to my insta and fb stories, I’m there under @kiapickeringart and Nakia Pickering Illustration. I will continue to center a lot of my art around nature conservation, so if you consider that political I’m sorry. I’ll also be aiming to make more fan art, and art that’s just plain fun.

I will however make this abundantly clear. I am:

Pro-DEI
Anti-fascism
Anti-racism
Queer
Neurodivergent (adhd to be precise)
Chronically ill
And so much more. So don’t even begin to think I don’t care, because I do, a hell of a lot.

This is not to say I don’t have opinions (believe me I do), but I would love to have ONE platform that isn’t inundated with the persistent horrors of the world around us. If I can have ONE escape, let it be here.
