Yeah, I’m all for mindless. Monster Zero is in my top five, and vs. Megalon is a blast, but the Godzilla/Kong movies just insult my intelligence and loyalty. I could write a dissertation on everything I hate about those movies!

I’d rather they just put Edwards back in charge of the Legendary Godzilla movies. His entry was SO much better than anything they’ve given us since.

I feel Daft Punk did a better job of creating a memorable score that accentuated the visuals and atmosphere. The NIN music seemed like it was fighting for attention, and interfered with the action. And when I left, I couldn’t recall a single cue. I’ll take Wendy Carlos’ score over both. I’m old!
