Can concur it is a process of self discovery lol. I went from pretransition alt-lite/nerdy casual to stereotypical baby trans with lots of color to pastels then finally settled back into alt/goth-lite with a love of dressing up.

As a trans mom, the distinction shouldn't matter. If both parents are mom then both are mom. For your own knowledge, sure "sire" works. But socially it shouldnt be anyone elses business
