I'm past it now, as I haven't encountered those jerks in decades and couldn't care less about them. But I won't lie that some Christmas songs still make me a bit uneasy because of them.
It's one of the reasons I didn't want kids, though. 🙁

And yet from 6th grade onward, bullies would torment me year-round with juvenile nonsense like "durr-hurr Santa Claus is DEAD!!" or "I shot Santa haha!" or "my dad ran over the Easter Bunny!" as if this somehow mattered to me.
They infantilized me all the way into high school. No one did anything.

Also earlier this year was Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, even if the ending left something to be desired. It was a joy to have new Gundam to follow every week for a while and share it with other fans.
