I feel somewhat insulated in my state, but this is going to be very bad. during the pandemic, I used to think about the Darwin awards. If these people want to take themselves out of the gene pool by not masking, having COVID parties, … we thank them for their sacrifice.

But could see a general inflammatory response. and the dose does make the poison. I once started having an allergic reaction to apples. Went to an allergist and was tested. I lived rurally at the time, with several apple trees on the property, and several orchards in the surrounding area.

Understood. ive worked with s cerevisiae fairly extensively (all my PhD work was in yeast!) i couldn’t drink wine or eat much bread for a while, only cause I felt kind of ”overdosed” on yeast. Seemingly breathed it in like air. But it never actually made me ill.

I would think that the development of yeast antibodies in “pre-IBD” is as likely an early symptom as a causal factor. But not my field, any more than hers. I defer to you sir.

Sorry, that woman is the stupidest scientist I’ve ever seen. WTF was she trying to say about s cerevisiae yesterday? (I do know.) I’ve used yeast as a model organism. I’ve studied med chem, pharmacognosy, and microbiology at the graduate level. Stupidest and least coherent “science” I’ve ever seen.

True. Malone may be in over his head, but I have no sympathy for that devil. The last two days at ACIP were ugly. That was a travesty. An insult to scientists, physicians, and the American public.
