I'd love for it to be a system that has more depth to it involving Archaeology or something, where you can learn all sorts of languages that can be used to read tablets and scrolls and stuff

all this is is just old and stubborn blizzard philosophies really, nothing more. it's old game mechanics that don't need to exist at this point - especially in a *private / guild neighborhood*

ngl this makes me want to make a very long thread about how ridiculous it is that the regular group finder for queues doesn't allow cross faction queuing but the custom group finder is opt-out when one is objectively more difficult content with even less communication than the other

certain faction restrictions are truly damaging to this game and it gets really old sometimes

price depends on the equipment slot yes but it is for every time you edit something. not really the worst thing in the world, it's just a bit expensive atm

but also nobody really enforces it strongly anyway. even if they did paywall the addon itself i doubt anything would happen unfortunately

depends how you implement it, if it's a framework you can paywall the savedvariables data that gets put inside the addon. it's basically like selling a profile setup even though nothing will functionally work without it

i rather enjoyed it, but tonally it's super different from atlantis/SG1 imo. good series, but if you don't like it because of how grim/dark the direction is compared to the previous shows, that's definitely understandable

and any time you want to edit an outfit

do you have the transmog unlocked from a previous character but not on that specific character?

Also it would be cool if it only cost gold after the first time you edited the outfit but was free if you're establishing the outfit initially but that's just me. It's just one of those things of like "extra taxes that wasn't on the price tag" idk

the main other point of feedback i have that i think should be changed is the Outfit edit/save pricing. I think 6k for a full outfit is a bit much, I'd probably knock off a digit of gold at the end so it'd be like max 600g for a whole outfit for example

That was this thing to be clear, how it went up to like 100k gold per outfit at the upper end and was ~800k for unlocking all 20, etc.

I think personally i'm fine with this, even if it's still pretty expensive, the first like 10 are very affordable to most people
