Found a big motherclucker this morn'. We regularly buy jumbo eggs for frying, sandwiches, etc. Large eggs are ~2oz, this jumbo was 3.25oz! Jumbos are normally ~2.7oz.
Large size is consistent for recipes, but a dozen jumbos often cost the same or less than large eggs.
