This is an good point about what the Right thinks it’s doing, but I don’t think liberals (broadly construed) can afford to give up discourse about virtue.
A better answer lies in MacIntyre’s project of recovering “virtue” as a concept much broader than the sexual categories to which it’s reduced.

I think this is clearly why Palestine has emerged as such an important issue for younger voters, well beyond specific concerns about the atrocities in Gaza.
(There’s a reason the guys who take the most AIPAC money also take the most crypto money, and it’s not because the issues are related.)
