Was interested in the effect of I-82 on DC restaurant employment given Bowser's goal to repeal it, so I made this comparing restaurant employment in DC and Arlington. Lines show employment as a % of employment in May 2023, when I-82 went into effect. Looks like a slowdown in DC but not a collapse

Forgive the rudimentary R skills, but I've been messing around with creating this map showing the share of workers in each county who are federal employees. A good chunk of the country has at least 1% of the working population employed by the federal government, with generally higher numbers West.
