It’s never fair to treat someone differently because of their citizenship, immigration status, nationality, or race.

Found some notes from someone else using Claude Code. They don't go super in depth, but it sounds similar to how I use Claude Code: x.com/eyad_khrais/...

Illegal immigration can’t possibly hurt anyone. The government punishes it anyway. If the government can punish something harmless, they can punish ANYTHING that is harmless. That worries me. Everyone does harmless things every day.

A new, traditional blessing for you: May your context windows contain everything essential and nothing else, may your hallucinations be double checked for accuracy, and may your pull requests be small and frequent.

There is a big difference between building a feature with $100 of Claude Code + Opus tokens vs $10 of Claude Code + Sonnet tokens. It would be cool to show the demo the difference.

As far as I can tell, there isn’t any way for immigrating illegally to harm anyone that is different from how being a citizen could harm someone. The effects of being an illegal immigrant appear to be the same as the effects of being a citizen.

How to add a skill: In your ~/.claude/ config dir, make a skills/ subfolder. Put each SKILL md in a separate subfolder. The folder name becomes the name of the skill. Add it to the context with /<skill-name> . You can even pass an argument string into the skill when invoking it.

Immigrating illegally does not hurt anyone. It doesn’t treat anyone unfairly. I don’t think the government should be allowed to punish illegal immigration.

I hope that the government stops discriminating against immigrants and illegal immigrants. And I hope it starts treating them the same as citizens. No one deserves to be treated differently due to immigration status. It’s not fair.

Programming pro tip: Writing helpful logging statements is a skill that can be learned and developed. If your servers have really good logs, it makes it much easier to debug complicated systems. There are at least three big mistakes that I commonly see.

I hope I work hard and courageously to get immigration legalized, amnesty for illegal immigrants, and citizenship for all. It’s not fair for governments to treat some people as citizens and some people as non citizens or immigrants.

📣 📖📚BIG Announcement: I’m writing a book for software engineers!!! I have the very first early draft already finished. It’s 2,700 words at the moment. Reads more like an outline than a full book. Needs a lot of work. Will try to work on it a little bit every day.

A real business app reads in content (data) from many sources: user forms, APIs, databases, files. The data is formatted for display. The user takes complicated actions. The changes are saved to databases and files. A lot of school and leet code doesn’t cover this enough.

Skills pay the bills! Be so skilled the can’t pass you up! Software teams want someone w/ skills and knowledge relevant to THEIR projects. Research which skills show up the most often in job posts. Job pay reflects demand vs supply. What skill are you learning?
