I feel like the latter describes much of Star Fox 64, amusingly enough, but I do get what you mean. Something about it sounds off.

I am still angry that, for a game that hits you over the head like a sledgehammer with the concept of motherhood, Other M did basically nothing with Samus and the weird bird creature.

It's funny, because I feel like the story has a perfectly reasonable reason for Samus to be (somewhat) subordinate. She's on a government ship while it's being investigated by officials from said government, but the story handles the entire thing so badly that it just feels wrong.

Other M frustrates me because it shares so much DNA with Fusion, but then somehow borks most of those elements. It's what happens if you let someone write a murder mystery/government conspiracy who has zero understanding of intrigue.

This is the second day in a row I find myself just staring at this Surge. It might very well be my favorite Surge drawing.
