Really enjoying Jeff Lemire’s JSA, and this year one arc is absolutely fantastic!

@markwaid.bsky.social, first thanks for being so cool with my son at Baltimore Comicon, it was a highlight of the convention. But I have an honest question, you saw my tattoo, and now I’m getting questions, What is this guys name?

Also, a good book recommendation. I found this when cleaning out my office. “Who is Jake Ellis” really is a fantastic espionage thriller, and a great book for anyone who likes Splinter Cell, Mission Impossible, etc.

You never know who you will meet. I got to meet the art director of one of my favorite video games sly cooper.

You know I keep taking breaks, but I keep coming back to it. Rivers of London is a really awesome book series. To anyone who’s a fan of paranormal investigations, put this on your must read pile. And HIGHLY recommend the audio book.

So I watched GIJoe as a kid, and always thought it was fun. But was never a diehard fan. I picked this up because Josh Williamson was the writer and Robert Kirkman was overseeing the universe. This book delivers every single month. Continues to be a lot of fun.

I haven’t enjoyed an indie superhero book this much since Invincible. The entire Massive line is amazing. But the two standouts are Radiant Black and Rogue Sun.

Been a while since I posted about comics. Absolute Batman continues to be the most surprising book. Maybe it’s me, but honestly most books I can predict where things are going. But NEVER this book. Always amazing read.

My amazing wife tracked down a game I’ve been looking for, for YEARS…. She is amazing.

Best new comic of the week. Captain America, I haven’t enjoyed this run on the character since brubaker, or waid.

And this book is the other one that doesn’t get the love it should. If you liked JSA under Geoff John’s, read this book. Honestly a great consistent read every time.

Honestly the best consistent super hero book you are probably not reading. Rogue Sun is probably my favorite Indie comic right now.

Been enjoying DCC, and really starting to like LitRPG as a genre. So I started checking out Solo Leveling to see what the hype was about. Wow, really enjoying this.

So if you are a fan of Invincible, or indie super heroes. The MassiveVerse is pretty amazing. And a great jumping on point, Radiant Black. Really has a similar vibe in all the best ways possible.

Very impressed with the offerings for FreeRPG day this year. Lot of great adventures and a lot of options.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about my personal flavor of ADHD. It’s that time blocks, and setting goals and working backwards don’t work…but streaks do. My brain is motivated by keeping a streak going. Kindle added a Streak Counter to their app and now I make it a point to read every day.

Ok, so I haven’t been a Spawn fan since I was a teenager (that’s a long time ago). But I thought this looked interesting cause I am a cyber punk fan. And wow was very impressed. Spawn with a Batman Beyond or Cyberpunk 2077 bend. Well crafted with a great story and great characters.

Just finished this one and it was amazing.

Wow, talk about a great book that slipped right under my radar. Sandman manages to capture a really fantastic take on the pulps from the golden age while telling an engaging story.

Another week of comics. This is a big week. I am super excited for Superman, which is ‘Man of Steel’ good. And @tomtaylormade.bsky.social is absolutely crushing it on detective comics. And @markwaid.bsky.social and team are delivering the best JLU possible.
