Our new hire went from left to right in the same day. I just told them they could have fun with it.

I want to find a cofounder to ship a bunch of different AI products on top of my main business.

Yes, I can do this myself. That's still the default.

But having a good cofounder just seems more fun.

devin.ai is sick. That’s all. Could easily see myself spending $1-2k/mo or more.

Observation from shopping around for new PaaS:

I feel like a lot of people compare entry level tiers across platforms.

This makes sense but wish there was more comparison over reasonable paid plans/setups.

I felt like I was constantly fighting our previous PaaS.

Then yesterday, it jacked up our prod db after an internal networking incident on their end. Put our db cluster into a "zombie lock" that was annoying.

Since we're prelaunch, instead of fixing the lock, I just decided to move to

Ozempic for sleep would be sick.

(Need less sleep -> More productive hours)

I've tried doing polyphasic sleep schedules multiple times for the same outcomes. Never worked for me lol

Spotify Wrapped isn't as cool with a toddler lol.

I've got the Wiggles and the Encanto album all over my top songs/artists.

Any tips on how to evaluate SEO talent when you're an SEO n00b? Or replace "SEO" with any other domain that you're a n00b in.

Dig into your business' costs at least every 3-6 months.

In just a few months:
- new expenses creep in and add up
- previous requirements no longer apply and you can cut vendors

Have an EA/VA do research and negotiate with vendors. One of the easiest ROI things to delegate for a couple of hours.

Idk why but I thought markdown for links worked on here LOL
I read [Notes on Taste](www.are.na/editorial/no...) by Brie Wolfson about 1 month ago.

It's been stuck in the back of my head ever since.

Would recommend.

@asmartbear.bsky.social You have no idea who I am.

But I appreciate all your writing and content. I find myself reviewing and revisiting your articles often.

Great connecting with you!

Spend more time consuming long form than short form content.

There are so many great blog posts, books, pdfs, and other content that’s much more thought out and thorough.

Pro-tip on focus:
- Readwise Reader is great.
- 3x speed on text-to-voice
- follow along. Read while you listen.

@pmillerd.bsky.social ‘s content is stuff I wish I read earlier in my indie journey.

Concepts around path role models, embracing unknowns, etc.

This post is worth reading. These principles resonated:

#1: Coming Alive Over Getting Ahead.

#5: Make Friends. Be Helpful.
