foghlaimeoir. Dúthrucht don iománaíocht. Is grá liom baidhsiceal mar modh taistil. Teifeach ón áit eile ar líne.
Cúis náire. Is scéal mór é ar Twitter dár ndóigh ach ní bhfuair mé aon rud i nGaeilge thall ná ar suíomh Comhairle BhÁC.

Clann mór i stair na cathrach, na tíre agus an domhain. Fíor dubs a bhí i lucht Iúdach BÁC 'part of the fabric of Dubs' agus is deacair é seo a thuiscint ach mar frith-Iúdachas.

Here's a hint, not quite a spoiler. Somebody who is expert - in both biking and particularly in mathematical physics - described this problem to me a few years ago, and my understanding is that there are plenty of interesting open questions that roll from it.

No mention of GLUAS or other light rail proposals. Even getting the various studies in order so that when funding is available in future we are ready to go (shovel-ready as they seem to say in the industry).

All of these offer solid advice. One of them is not like the other.

Please focus on the sources of road danger.

Sadhbh O'Neill nailed it a couple of days ago. These guys never use public transport and none of their buddies do so at best it's an abstraction. At worst it's for "other people" who haven't bought a car yet.

The double bypass without strings for Baile Chláir (Claregalway) just shows there's little science behind any of this. It's bad planning begets bad traffic which begets sloppy fixes.

The damage done by decades of underinvestment in public transport (and healthy transport) needs to be undone.

There's no funding to reopen the Waterford-Wexford/Rosslare. The All-Island Rail Review recommended reopening this. It's only been closed since 2010 and is being maintained. Would have been huge for regional development.

It's a good practical move. Coinnigh oraibh! But the language used is important. This will make roads less dangerous.

We need an explicit focus on road danger reduction.
