It is hard for me to respect anyone who consistently says Canada is broken. Especially poignant today as I mark the end of my 39th year of service to Canada as a member of the RCAF. 😎🎂

Ok, I get it, you are not enamored with him. 🤣 I do agree that he is centre left compared to Justin. That is why I voted Liberal for the first time in my life last election. The PC party have become the RC (Regressive Conservatives) and way too far right. Can we at least agree that PP is 💩 head! 🤣

We get lower prices! Tariffs are taxes on us FFS. Also, the US does not have any tariffs on CUSMA compliant items. That is why we dropped ours. We kept the tariffs on steel, aluminum etc, the same sectors the US has tariffs on. There is no distraction. Would you rather have PP in charge! 🤬SMFH

FFS. The only tariffs that are being removed are those on CUSMA compliant items to match the US. We still have tariffs on steel, aluminum etc. The US economy is 15 times larger than ours ($2B vs $30B). Who do you think wins if we go tit for tat on tariffs? Carney is playing the long game.

Good point. However, DND has always had to beg for scraps when it comes to funding for new equipment. Given the F35 debacle caused by the previous PM, the prospect of more delays to procure European aircraft is likely not very palatable. Especially when our CF18s are 40 years old now. 😱🤣

Sadly, it is not that simple. We are already on the hook for the initial 16 aircraft. I am sure discussions are being had to purchase other aircraft from Europe. Or, they may want to use purchasing the other 72 F-35s as leverage in trade talks. I trust the Gov't is doing what's best for Canada. 😀
