Thank you very much for your book donations. We’ve received 61 so far! 📚✨ Our student library assistants have been busy sorting them, and they’d love more. The donation drive runs all through January, so please keep them coming. See the flyer for details.

We were delighted to host “Shakespeare’s Hidden Numbers” at the library, a fascinating talk by Rob Eastaway, author of Much Ado About Numbers. The session had students laughing and seeing Maths/The Bard in a whole new light. Thank you @kes-mathematics.bsky.social for this opportunity!

Our school’s theme of the week is Reading for Pleasure. We’re running reading assemblies, book donation drive, book quizzes and other planned activities, but there’s nothing like an impromptu reading sessions in the library at the start of the day! #readingforpleasure

Yesterday our Year 7s met @devkothari.bsky.social for an inspiring author talk! Students listened to her speak about her experience, and explored their imaginations and started crafting their own mysteries in a creative writing workshop with her afterward. Lots of smiles and stories all around!
