Civilian mims who have nothing immediately useful to offer would stay in stasis. But hospitality workers, chefs, therapists, entertainers, & similar would be awake to help maintain the illusion of humanity while on the ship, & also keep the active crew's mental health/sanity in check. Just my guess😅

as well as engineers/mechanics. Next priority would be construction workers building NLA while the ship's drifting through space. And maybe once the city started to take shape, more people who are knowledgeable about running businesses would be woken up to start bringing life/commerce to the city.

have been at least 40% randomized and 60% rigged for the rich elite. That's why we got this mix of regular civilians like Jo along with the people Lao hated lol
As for the active crew, I assume soldiers would be awake from the start since they're the main line of defense against the alien pursuers,

activated, either as part of the active crew or after crash landing on Mira? (And then, would there be a gap in everyone's memories from when their minds were first uploaded, vs everything they experienced in their real bodies after that?)

even work... 🫠 Would that mean people's minds were scanned/uploaded to the Lifehold without them even knowing? And if everyone left their real bodies behind on Earth, was there still a consciousness in those bodies up until they died, or did they "fall asleep" and wake up as soon as their mims were

I've also been wondering about the selection process and active crew ever since playing the DE. 🤔 I specifically remember Lao criticizing the ECP for lying about how no one could know if they'd been selected or not until after the ship had already evacuated, but I could never understand how that'd

also only now noticed i put Cyrene in the middle out of habit when there's no point (since she doesn't gain energy from getting hit) 😅. but it doesn't really matter once Phainon activates his Ult anyway i guess ヽ(´ー`)ﾉ
