Customers will be serviced on their normal collection day and should leave out all their containers.

As of this morning, residential and commercial waste collection services in Kent have been interrupted by a work stoppage at Republic Services due to an out-of-market labor dispute.

Republic will be providing updates to customers and the City of Kent is monitoring the situation.

Today, the City of Kent formally reestablished its Sister City relationship with the City of El Grullo, located in the State of Jalisco, Mexico!

Mayor Ralph met with Mexican Municipal President Re-Elect of El Grullo, Milton Cárdenas, and his delegation today at Kent City Hall!

Yesterday evening before the Kent City Council meeting, Mayor Ralph proclaimed June 19 as #Juneteenth in the City of Kent at a flag-raising event.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the effective end of slavery in the United States.
