If ye love me (John 14:15-17)
composed by Thomas Tallis
perfomed by The King's Singers

If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Helper,
to be with you forever,
even the Spirit of truth…

It is heartbreaking. This is so wrong, on many levels. Shame on our leaders for permitting this behavior, endorsing this behavior. The image of morality in America is being challenged now. Maybe we should review the Beattitudes right now, Matthew, Chapter 5.

Got our COVID shot today at CVS Pharmacy in Alabama (without a prescription, walk-in). We drove over from Florida, where the shot is not available at pharmacies without a prescription.

This is an important article, and all too accurate. I heard a church member today defending the vulgar, hurtful, damaging, coarse, untruthful statements made by our political leadership are fine, after all, "He doesn't mean what he is saying". The Church should repent of this behavior.

This hits hard, to our shame. It is timely, and these are hard words we need to hear.

It's a good movie. D.B Sweeney is well-cast in his part.

The collection of Customs Duties (tariffs) is automated and has been for some generations. Most commercial entries of goods into the US will not be slowed, except for Temu

I think we would all be better informed in these trying times if we watched The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show and also caught up on Boris and Natasha. Yes, Cold War is the correct answer.

You are correct. Trump will not be able tariff the USA into economic prosperity. Tariffs are a tax on importers and consumers.

Friends of mine who are federal employees were preparing to retire are now looking at the 70% downsizing of OPM (OPM processes all retirement packages) and wondering how long retirement processing will be delayed. Federal employees are loyal public servants. How long will that tax refund take now?

Yes, Thriftbooks. If I am near one of their stores, Half Price Books.

Yeah. I get it. The current CBP ban on de minimum shipments is the flavor of the day CBP flex position. The volume of low value comm shipments argues against a total blockade of them. Larger commercial express shipment and international package consolidation services would likely work for a fee.

Original art was unconditionally free of duty by U.S. Customs in the past. Maybe a Shippers Letter of Instruction accompanying each shipment would help. Additionally I suggest that you contact the CBP Port Director in writing with your experience and concerns.
