Got in a bday hike before I had to leave Yosemite this morning. Hiked the Washburn Trail to Mariposa Grove and Grizzly Giant. Giant Sequoias are amazing, even after they fall. Fallen Monarch (pictured) was first noted in the 1850s. #NationalParks #SaveOurPublicLands

Any #hiking resolutions? I’m thinking 52 hikes (min 4 miles?) in ‘25. Working full time & not having abundant hiking super close by, it’s a bit of a challenge. But I’ve got 2 #NationalParks trips in January that’ll give me a good head start. Pic: #BigBendNationalPark in ‘21, where I’ll be next week.

Kids exposed to #DomesticViolence are more likely to suffer a ton of bad outcomes. The key to good outcomes is creating HOPE in their lives. It’s really important to make sure good things happen in their lives. That’s why we make sure all our @onesafeplace.bsky.social kids have toys on Xmas morning!
