The answer to the increasingly apt and already clichéd question, pictured below, is: Desperately trying to not upset the gravy cart on this apple train.

Because status quo, access, privilege, and/or hoping to avoid coming before a judge.

Nihilism marketing is brought about by a particularly cynical and craven way of looking at the world.

And now, Bishop Cooke’s liturgy …

I was born by the river
In a little tent
Oh, and just like the river, I've been runnin'
Ever since
It's been a long
A long time comin', but I know
A change gon' come
Oh, yes it will

The thrill is gone
It's gone away for good
Oh, the thrill is gone, baby
It's gone away for good
Someday, I know I'll be over it all, baby
Just like I know a man should

You know I'm free, free now, baby
I'm free from your spell
I'm free, free, free now
I'm free from your spell

Just as a matter of form, @apnews.com, if gunfire and dozens killed in the corresponding missile strikes is merely a test for a ceasefire, what actually breaks a ceasefire?

No, it’s something lower, and squeakier, then that.

I’m hoping to get out after the last meeting of the week. Schedules and life and weather have not been cooperating of late.

Where shall we ride?

We saw surfers at Flusswelle Thun, Switzerland. Six were out the day we walked by.

When surfers made it into that pocket it seemed that they could stay until they got bored, or made a silly mistake. This guy was standing on his board, gesturing and talking with people passing by on the bridge.

I’ve always thought there should be another Nixon Rule. If you poll where Nixon was when he left office … take the hint, and then take another famous ride on Marine 1.

That October, she saw a football game, the first ever meeting between DePauw and Washington University in Saint Louis.

The Tigers won 24-5.

The two teams would not play again for 60 years.

On September 29th, she ran this story. She noted that tears were shed. Boy tears.

"One girl said to me, 'Poor Hugh Baker's crying because he's losing. I feel sorry for him, don't you?'

"Truly I did.

"Once it was the dream of my life to be a small boy, but yesterday afternoon I thought otherwise."

In the second half of September Rose Marion had two pieces in the paper. The first on a new addition to the Cardinals' roster, Stan Yerkes. This was his second team, and his third and last season. He appeared in 39 games, starting 37, but did not have the future Marion forecast.
November 17, 2025 at 11:25 PM
She interviewed the wife of a Cardinals' star pitcher. They did not win the pennant, as Marion predicted -- finishing 4th, 14.5 games back -- despite having Mrs. Harper as "a mascot."

The next day she had a folo. And the woman's hat gets credited with playing a key role.

First four (digitized) stories. She's on the front page by her third clip.

Later in the summer of 1901 she covered child brides, was mock interrogated by police, interviewed a man who stood to inherit a lot of money, a hat maker, the man who ran St. Louis’ “matrimonial bureau,” and a saloon owner.

Also, this important part is important, @harvard.edu … you guys should look into this.

I come down firmly in the camp that Ronald Moore didn’t have the whole thing plotted out yet. That’s just the nature for television. But this note, and several other things in the miniseries, are well-planted in retrospect.

Did you remember the note mysteriously left in Adama’s quarters?
