I thought the ending mostly worked. It had a very odd narrative structure for an ending. For something with the word ‘war’ in the title, the ending felt very muted but I’m not sure if that’s a bad thing. The humans killing 90% of the homoaqua was very shocking and it felt a very sad ending.

Honestly they were the best episodes of tv I’ve seen all year. Didn’t pick up my phone once (which is rare for me🤣). The tension, music and effects were incredible and I really can’t wait for next week.

I’m not that surprised the bbc would have nothing to fill the schedule gap unless they just repeated something else .

Absolutely loving this new series! The snake idea would be great to do on the London under/ over ground 😊

I don’t think Billie is the next doctor, my theory is that the doctor has messed with the TARDIS and Billie is a version of bad wolf since he unlocked the TARDIS? I think it would be fun as a special and see who 16 is and I really do hope that we do get more Doctor who in the near future!

Such a weirdly structured episode. Why kill the Rani & rush the resolution in like 20 minutes? It’s so open ended as it’s clear that the doctor did not fix time & if the series is not picked up I fear we won’t ever resolve it? I wanted a proper farewell with 15 and Ruby as well ! It just feels sad

Personally I think people should be able to do weed in moderation but in many cases parents are completely out of it as they are so reliant on cannabis and I would like much more action against the heavy usage of this drug.

I found your podcast really interesting. As a primary school teacher, I regularly pupils and their parents coming to school reeking of cannabis. I report it safeguarding but they say that they can’t do anything about this so I assumed it was legal to possess so I was obviously wrong.

It kind of felt like Doctor Who cast do a sci fi version of 1984 and I feel everything might just get reversed. On the plus I am intrigued that Poppy seems to be the doctors real daughter and the appearance of Rogue!

Don’t want to be negative but it’s my least favourite of the series atm but that could all change with the resolution next week. It felt too confusing and I didn’t like the characterisation of Belinda. Didn’t give us enough info such as how the Doctor and Belinda got there and for how long.

Congratulations on completing the marathon! I did the half marathon for Zarach and 13 miles was enough in the heat today! So amazing to see the true Headingley spirit on display cheering everyone on after the shock of last few weeks. The atmosphere was incredible!

I loved this episode. Very original storytelling in a way only Doctor who could achieve & at its heart a story about the magic of hope, stories, kindness & forgiveness. I think I will be rewatching this episode for years to come. Also why was Poppy there & is the fugitive dr in the doctor’s future?
