Caravan - In The Land Of Grey And Pink (1971). This is a glorious record for any time of the day. My copy is a 2019 pressing and it’s fabulous, but it has reminded me that Steven Wilson did a remix which I now need to investigate

Kallax in the cupboard. All worthy LPs get a good ultrasonic clean, lined inner sleeves and Crystal outer from Spincare.
I have a couple of boxes nearby in my listening room with rotating LPs
Finally some prized albums below my deck and amp

Eric Clapton - Me and Mr Johnson (2004) #vinyl #np
Got this in a chazza for buttons. The sleeve is by Peter Blake. 14 covers of Robert Johnson by Clapton and a very good band including Billy Preston. It does what it says on the tin. Small doses of blues are ok.

If you’re a fan and it’s at a decent price then yes. Some of the songs have been released before though on various formats

Just finished Malice on Prime. Only 6 episodes so it doesn’t outstay it’s welcome. Jack Whitehall is well cast as the too good to be true manny and David Duchovny is good value throughout

Despite many years of collecting #vinyl I’ve never previously bought an album on 2*45rpm until now. The Special AKA - In The Studio was always a favourite of mine. There is considerable depth and quality to the pressing and the 45rpm helps push out a clearer signal. Sounds superb

Loved it! An absolute blast with so many deft comedic touches. Kind Hearts and Coronets just shades it, mainly due to Joan Greenwood

Bryan Ferry - The Bride Stripped Bare (1978) #vinyl
I think this is my fave solo Ferry album from the 70’s. It’s nothing more than a collection of songs, well played and produced. A Roxy reformation was just around the corner

This has been re-released on 4K and a limited cinema run. The Wild Geese (1978). I managed to watch it last night on an app called Watch Free UK. One of those movies that invites criticism galore but is just a simple way to wile away an couple of hours with tea and biscuits 6/10

Supertramp - Live 1997
Think this was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. Double cd was released called It Was The Best Of Times but my streaming platform only has the single cd release. Lovely recording and playing. Mark Hart does a decent enough job singing the Roger Hodgson hits. Worth a listen
