Watching Freakier Friday. It's meh, but not awfully bad; even a bit funny. And the cast includes Manny Jacinto, which is always nice.

Installing Zorin OS 18 because Windows 10 just installed Copilot after an update yesterday. Uggghhhh.

I've been laughing at some Navidad TikToks for the past 10 minutes, the same joke over and over. How the hell can you not love humanity, other people, your kin? ❤️

The founding fathers of the nations of the Americas coming back to life on the XXI century to explore the modern world together would be a great premise for a sitcom or cartoon.

The cat distribution system works in very mysterious ways.

Everything else, every problem, every annoying thing seems meaningless after looking at the sea, hearing the sound of crashing waves and feeling your own heart beat. Life is beautiful, the world is an amazing place.

Whoever dried the Aral Sea or came up with the idea of exploiting it is a fucking idiot and deserves a life in hell.

Whoever prefers Bluetooth to Aux it's insane in the brain (derogatory).

I loathe when I must use instagram to read something current in the community. It's extremely normie-based. It's dumb.

Be aware of the opportunities you have and also of how fortunate you have been, so you can make the best out of it. It helps to not have regrets in the future.

There is no fun on depending on others. One must be able to make their own choices.

In the desert you can't afford to be afraid. I just found a big, unknown, poisonous-looking bug with many feet while changing clothes. I screamed… but I had to kill it because no one else would. Life in the desert teaches lessons, yes sir.

Most of my love for physical media comes from cassettes, game cartridges, and the sleeves and art that came with CDs. That said, I never liked the discs themselves, they always seemed frail, brittle and prone to scratches. When I discovered you could convert them to files on a PC I was ecstatic.

Merry Christmas.

Christmas is truly magical, no matter what one believes in.

Pluribus season finale was great! Merry Pluribmas!

Yesterday I watched Home Alone with my family and now we're watching Home Alone 2. Truly the best movies to watch on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Christmas Eve with a stomachache because why not.

And playing Plants vs Zombies always will remind me of when I was studying in the university. And Windows 7.
December 24, 2025 at 1:46 AM
Playing Plants vs Zombies and reinstalling Windows/MacOS/Linux and related software is a tradition for me on December, because I only used to had time for this on these quieter days. Truly a magical season.

Successfully installed Windows 10 on the Thinkpad, overwriting the previous Windows 11 install (and sadly overwriting Ubuntu too, but that can be fixed fast). Now, before connecting to the internet, I will disable TPM so that thing can't ever reinstall 11 again.

When was the golden age of the internet? I'm gonna say 2008-2019. It just feels that way to me.
