Whether it's Crockett or Talarico or Allred or O'Rourke, and even if latino/asian voter preference swings back to the typical 60:40 split for dems, the key to TX is figuring out the latino (largest group) turnout because the white folk here certainly won't be helpful in turning the state blue/purple

Much of the recent layoffs have little to do with AI. It's mostly from over-hiring during the pandemic (e.g. Amazon) which has been an issue, now exacerbated due to margin squeeze from tariffs. Even the so-called AI impact is probably from some other form of previously established tech/automation.

Personally, I feel like Ayesha is a habitual linestepper. Any one of her candid, goofball statements over the years could get a pass in isolation, but the accumulation of publicly oversharing seems problematic.

Once again, for folks like Ezra Klein, democrats didn't lose in 2024 because they didn't win enough white voters. Like Biden in 2020, Kamala Harris won 43% of the white vote. Democrats lost last year because the Biden term turned off nonwhite voters.
