Was Sullivan iron clad? He was found guilty by jury but there was doubt if you read the circumstances. For me that would be deemed non hanging offence. Cos a person found guilty of murder i agree is not automatic hanging but on some like Southport killer and those proved 100% i all for corporal

Each crime has to be judged on severity impact to victims and families individually.
