New lamp. White, skinny, large circular shaft of Japanese fabric with multiple striations. Nice texture.

Pride goeth before a fall. The monitor of Secondary Computer, specifically. From the stand of which my new phone slid off and hit the wood bookcase shelf where I had kept a pillow until recently. (Cats ignored it.) By centimeters I rearranged. No apparent damage. Yet.

The original guardian angel. Much as before, with more pearls and golden loops. Dating from childhood, she is remarkably serene because she doesn't know what she's gotten herself into.

Second pair of Doc Martens in my life. Decided on spiffy.
Black, yellow, and green Doc Martens framed by the ears of a cat. Forefoot and outer sides are black, the tongue and thick laces bright yellow, and the inner sides dark green. They match the couches.

Maybe I spoke too soon...
A panoramic view of Japan's famous "snow monsters", formed by soft rime under specific meteorological conditions in the volcanic Zaō Mountains. Shifted the bed 1.5 m to the left –I don’t use the full closet, and I’ve put some distance between myself and The Hum.
