I'm glad you got your pull-ups in, but could you now please do your job.

Speaker Johnson should not have canceled our last day of session and sent the House home early, just to block us from voting on a bipartisan effort to stop millions of Americans from losing their health insurance.

Deeply disappointed, but not deterred. We have a lot of work to do.

Can someone please tell him that it's mathematically impossible to lower something by more than 100%?

This is not how we treat people in the United States of America.

Update: House Republicans pushed their plan through without voting to extend the ACA tax credits that would have saved health care for millions — and Mike Johnson is sending the House home early.

How much did this cost American taxpayers?

And what did this do to address the affordability crisis?
December 18, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Speaker Johnson is using the precious little time that we have left to kick even more Americans off of their coverage, block the bipartisan effort to extend tax credits so that working families can afford health insurance, and shove through a backdoor ban on abortion.

I am calling on Speaker Mike Johnson to not dismiss the House until the health care catastrophe is addressed.

Today's Corruption of the Day: the Trump family and Paramount's hostile bid to buy Warner Bros.

Let's talk about it.

We finally have the votes to stop Americans' health insurance premiums from skyrocketing at the end of this month.

Speaker Mike Johnson needs to bring it to a vote immediately.

What we’re seeing in Minnesota is absolutely unacceptable.

Unidentified masked federal agents are undermining public safety and the rule of law, operating with zero accountability or transparency, and absolutely terrorizing our communities.

Over the last 20 years, we've made incredible progress and have cut child mortality in half.

But now for the first time in 25 years, child mortality is projected to rise.

People lost their lives in a horrific tragedy. The President should be offering condolences and comfort, not cruelty and callousness.

His narcissism is exhausting. The American people deserve better than this.

Do we trust the tech billionaires to self-regulate and conduct oversight on themselves? I don't think so.

I wish we had a president who was deserving of a peace prize.

Doctor here 👋 There's no such thing as a "preventative MRI."
December 10, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Mr. Speaker, you need to know what's going on.

Trump’s tariff war has been nothing but costly, chaotic -- and corrupt.
December 9, 2025 at 9:20 PM
If Republicans actually wanted to address the health care crisis, they'd be working around the clock to find a solution before the deadline.
December 9, 2025 at 1:52 AM
President Trump thinks affordability is a scam 🤷‍♀️
December 8, 2025 at 6:15 PM
The American people deserve to feel protected by their president. Not attacked by him.

This moment calls for everyone — regardless of political leaning — to be a little bit brave and speak out against cruelty and inhumanity.

We must prioritize our humanity and lean into kindness and compassion for our fellow human beings.

Thank you, Sabrina Carpenter for speaking out.
