Eric Morecambe wrote a children’s novel called The Reluctant Vampire, which also had a sequel titled The Vampire’s Revenge.

Pretty sure I borrowed it from a mobile library and read it when I was a kid. Can’t remember the details but I think I read it twice, so must have liked it.
