There are lots of dumb people and lots of gambling addicts.

Soon-to-be gambling addicts, insiders, and those who believe (correctly or incorrectly) they can manipulate these markets.

There are certainly private chats where people trade insider information and coordinate market manipulation.

DOJ moved to unseal the records. It's meaningless. The judge has been clear that there's no new info at stake (assuming DOJ complies with protecting victim identities).

Partisan rulings aren’t crimes and they’ve already gutted anti-bribery laws. I don’t think they are worried about prison. More likely they would prefer to avoid scenarios that permit court reforms that would threaten to undo their partisan work.
