Back from a wonderful week in Paris. This beautiful, historic and perfectly rebellious city filled with incredible people is my new favorite destination in Europe.

If I’m ever having a crappy day, I remind myself that we’ve ensured there are an additional 500 potential lifesavers out there in the community, and that we won’t stop until there are many thousands.

Last year we launched our CPR Skills for Life programme to help boost the confidence of our community in delivering basic life support.

So far, our amazing team of staff and volunteers have delivered sessions to more than 500 people across our region.

I’m really proud of this one: As well as training every single member of our charity team in CPR and AED use, we now carry a defibrillator on all 7 of our charity vans. These vehicles cover thousands of miles each year, always out and about in the community we serve.
