I don’t love ever performance in this, even Washington who’s noted as one of the most magical orators of Shakespearean verse seems a little too unexpressive here. But one performance i always come back to with admiration is Kathryn Hunter as the witches

I don’t love ever performance in this, even Washington who’s noted as one of the most magical orators of Shakespearean verse seems a little too unexpressive here. But one performance i always come back to with admiration is Kathryn Hunter as the witches
The Tragedy of Macbeth. Shakespeare x COVID. Really fascinating adaptation of the play, all small rooms and claustrophobic spaces to illustrate that Macbeth, as a guy, simply can’t escape his own dumbest impulses.
