Multiply neurodivergent plural therapist who works with folks others have said are "too much." Sometimes speaker / trainer. Sister of Perpetual Indulgence. Mostly a dork. Co-founder of The Refractory : https://powertotheplurals.com/refractory/
But i kept trying to explain that it's not about intelligence. It's about familiarity. And a lot of analytic literary culture just felt like throwing theoretical dicks around *to* make people feel excluded / dumb

That's a good way to put it. I know in my internship there was a lecturer who utilized really dense analytic literature & I kind of think she did it to purposely overwhelm students. I ended up being the interpreter for classmates. Folks got really down on themselves for not understanding

Good point. I get so immersed in the woo world that is often bay area therapy culture I don't pay attention anymore. "We're all being forced to sit in a circle, throw random objects in the middle for a community alter + we're going to go each say 1 word that sums up our deepest intention? Great"

I'm just tired of elected dems being indistinguishable from moderate Republicans. I get that we only have fascist far right Republicans in congress now, but i did not consent to dems moving the Overton window so far to the right that they erased what dems upheld as leftist values.

Can't get more updated or exact info, but apparently they raided an elderly care home and arrested care home workers

Yeah. I was unable to set foot in a church for the longest time because it made me ill from my history with a relgious school. Working with some queer reverands in my non profit who actually prioritize helping all people has helped that. But those reverands are few and far between

It would be nice to have a Saint of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in the office.
