At develop! Say hiii (rip my hair)

Been working on a little wolfenstein-3d style raycaster for the Playdate (168Mhz CPU, 16mb ram!) for a fun little side project, it's starting to come along okay!

Trying to keep a good framerate on the actual hardware is rough though! Been learning a bunch about programming and optimizing C!

We got Best Puzzle

Funny story: Journey had no automatic shadows. I painted them all by hand. The shadow texture was not hi-res. To get the iconic sunset columns to cast sharp shadows, I made sure that they aligned with the pixel grid of the texture. Here you can see the shadow map I painted.

More and more, follows for the last few days, looks a LARGE amount of people are finally leaving the hell bird site 😀

pet peeve: mobile apps that use the spinners for date of birth inputs, so i have to keep spin the year back from the current date and feel my body decay as i attempt to reach my year of birth 😭
