This guy did not enjoy the thunder. We definitely needed the rain and maybe moving to fall-ish temps.

Here are a couple of hawks on a street light in front of my house.

Five years ago today, I was lucky enough to leave Arizona Humane Society with these two guys. They add chaos and love to the house every day.

I'm so sorry. Sending many good thoughts your way. Here's a prairie dog sitting like a person and eating veggies. I've also included a roadrunner crossing a garden path.

Same here!

She blocked me for telling her this was a bad take and stating his belief that Christian women needed to be subservient to their husband, so apparently, I'm the uncivil one.

I bet you're appreciated every day!!

I'm glad it went well. This goober had a full extraction about a year ago due to stomatitis. The early stage is stressful (truly an understatement), but it's amazing how much better they are after the healing.

Similar situation here, though it's only bald spots on his feet. Vet gave full okay on him. Completely stressed me out.

Oslo after receiving his bloody toys.

It's almost the 1st anniversary of his dental procedure, and he runs around with toys in his mouth and eats crunchy food.

French will feel so much better once you get through the next couple of months.

Sending good wishes to Piper. This guy had to have a full extraction last year, and the initial recovery period is stressful. It took several months, but I can tell the difference in him. Give her some time, and she'll be back to herself before you know it.

Thinking of those we've lost. Wishing all a peaceful day.

I've seen a number of blooms but also a lot of buds that seem determined to stay closed.
May 23, 2025 at 2:47 PM
I have a similar combination.

We're still in the saguaro bloom-time frame. I was hoping there would be more flowers, but still, many buds to open.

And some butterflies.

Happy Caturday!

This is Oslo from a year and a half ago after he had surgery for a blockage. I still keep an eye on him when I hear him in the box and applaud while he covers his business. You are not alone in keeping an eye out.

Very similar to this guy. He's about 8 pounds and a tornado of thoughts and opinions.
March 8, 2025 at 4:36 PM
This photo is a little over a year old right after his surgery to remove bladder stones. The recovery period isn't fun, but no issues since. We're sending good thoughts Spike's way and hoping he has a couple of quiet days recovering.

It appears I have Neelix's doppelganger. He, too, can wedge himself places that seem uncomfortable.
February 10, 2025 at 12:45 AM
I really want to have lunch, but that would require disturbing this guy's nap.
January 26, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Do you like canned food? If you're not on a special diet, Hills has a prescription can called Urgent Care a/d. It helped this guy put on weight when I first adopted him and again a couple of months ago after he had surgery.

Sending good thoughts to you and your parents for this journey.
