That's nice in theory, but in practice it will not happen before the current SC ends representative democracy, or at least multicultural/social democracy. The authoritarian rump is large enough to prevent any correction via amendment. The other options may not be good but they are what we have.

It does, though. There hasn't been an amendment in dog's years, and there likely will not be one in our lifetimes. Even if you rebalance the SC to get rid of the radical majority, you are still just saying that the only arbiter of the Con. is the SC everything becomes fight to control it.

Which means that there is no way to overrule the SC. Effectively, we are ruled by the SC under those rules, and we should just admit it.
