I'm a square peg in a world of round holes. People constantly spout platitudes like ✨️be your authentic self!✨️ but theres not very much visibility on how bad we struggle.
And we STRUGGLE. They dont talk about how being your authentic self can cost you your job. I dont have the option sometimes.

I'm constantly having to fight neurotypical expectations. My career has been VERY difficult to progress through because of how differently I think and work. I'm constantly hamstrung by expectations that work for them but not for me.
