In the grand scheme, this isn't a big deal. It's just that I finally started working on a Christmas project on 12/10, and the world is not cooperating with me. It's just not gonna be a Katie Christmas this year. We'll try again in 2026.

I hold myself to an impossible standard. Tried saving time going with a store-bought dough for the calzones instead of making it for myself, and just could not get it to shape.

Every time I click into my weather app, my desire to sit directly on a fire increases. It's supposed to get to -14° early morning tomorrow. Like, actual temperature, not wind chill temperature. That's 6.8° F. It's currently: -3°, wind chill -11°, so if we hold that metric: -22° (-7.6°). Y'ALL.
