I prefer s'.

Merriam-Webster says "Socrates' bed" is correct. The University of Sussex agrees. While Cambridge Dictionary says both "Socrates' bed" and "Socrates's bed" are both correct, but also that s' is more common.

The term for this is a drawover, and I will specifically ask for them if the person directing me gives me notes that are unclear or too open to being misinterpreted. Getting just the drawover is also helpful.

I rescale it down in the art program (making sure to only save a image file copy of the scale down, and not save over the art program file).

Observing the temperature in the room, the general sentiment appears to be more negative than positive. I've seen artists describe it as dystopian. Which was replied with another person thanking them for saying that, because they also thought it weird but was waiting for someone else to bring it up.

A softcover notebook with dot grid paper.

Dot grid paper is great because it lets you write notes in a straight line (like lined paper), but doesn't get in the way when you're sketching (unlike lined paper). Dot grid paper can be harder to find, but when you find it on quality paper, it's great!
