Still copying others' simple works as I learn how to paint. Liked this idea, though, and I'm learning how to do fine lines with the rigger.

More experiments with gouache, and with painting in general. I didn't expect to start painting randomly on the doorstep of fifty, but I'm finding it enjoyable, even if I'm not very skilled. I suspect it will come with time and practice.

I've started doing gouache at home, and I'm finding it frustrating to find a paint consistency that works for me. This is the result of the last day, though. I'm trying.
