Yet another goddamn Icelandic writer.
We stopped at two, and I come from a family of two children, so I don’t disagree, but on the other hand middle children are often the most interesting people, so the world could do with some of those.

Almost all the Finnish characters are played by Icelandic actors. This has caused much amusement here in Finland.

Mér skilst að hægt sé að smakka grænan lit og vita hvort þar sé arsenik, en það er víst ekki mælt með því lengur.

on Apple devices, it should be enough to long press the QR code

one of the options should be either to follow the link or read the QR code

I don’t know if that works on Android

I think the French had the right idea a hundred years ago: every book from the same publisher looks the same, with only the title and author name to distinguish them.

It seems weird they’re not asking about Ocasio-Cortez, who’s obviously considering it. Whether she will run or not, she clearly would be a much more serious contender than most of these folks.

I had the same thing happen just a couple of days ago. I had to turn it off and on and then flush the DNS cache. Now it's working fine.

That’s a good point.

Though I feel Andor’s too long to count, and it’s difficult to excise any three episodes from the series to make a stand-alone movie, while the weird structure of Clone Wars makes each arc an independent story.

That said, I’m uncomfortable with “length” being a genre divider.

Revenge of the Sith is only makes sense if you’ve watched all of the Clone Wars series. However, Llike the other prequels, it’s very interesting, which is why Clone Wars had so much material to work with.

The four episode arc about Ahsoka Tano leaving the Jedi Order is the 4th best Star Wars movie.

so I put on Capital Punishment while doing the dishes and thankfully nobody else was home because I’d forgotten that there’s a skit that’s pretty much audio pornography

anyway, brilliant album, pulling in all the threads of 90s hip hop production, and Big Pun was such an incredible rapper

There’s a podcast called Going Rogue which starts off with a six episode series about the shenanigans that went on while making that film. It’s riveting, as it absolutely shouldn’t be, yet is. You’ll find yourself going “no?!?!?” out loud at details about scriptwriting credits.

Personally I‘d put Endo alongside Gravenberch in a double pivot, they let their opponents have too much time on the ball near their penalty box. It won’t fix everything, but it’s a start.

I knew lots of fans of BSG when it was on air but they were all so disappointed by the ending that it ended their fandom

that ending killed off the generational fandom before it had an opportunity to form

I hate to defend a megacorp here, but they’re just the distributor here, Star Wars: Visions is an anthology series, with each episode being made by a different studio. In this case it’s 88 Pictures.

people who are good at a thing wish that being good at that thing means they’re good at everything

most ads for ai is based on the idea that if you’re good at computer that should mean you’re good at everything

most ai products follow the same logic
