It's not the best custard pie; but it's very much Depression-era pie making, that my Mom's mom served us

Dad's mom always had a Pepperidge Farm Carrot Cake for me; the two ends of my spectrum 😆

Sounds disgusting but is actually pretty good (due to lots of sugar)

If you strapped an MRI to me and turned it on, I’d die in an instant.

But I do like those bins

Poor guy's gonna asphyxiate on lasagna farts if that was me

One night of "Bourbon D&D" in college and the worst hangover of my life turned me against brown likker for many years in my 20s

Mine's like an acorn glued to my torso in moments like this; so, yeah, I'd be mad too

GROWER NOT A SHOWER I scream as I'm bring bundled into the ambulance

The best pies listed in order

...umm... I like all of them... especially custard ones... vinegar pie... buttermilk pecan...

You know, I was leaning towards the detective story until I read this...

Now *that* is cardio!

A little bit of background: We bought ammo at tax-exempt prices. I bought enough practice (TMJ) ammo to sell to students who showed up for Open Range Days at cost; best I could do.

But DAYUM were those prices cheap at the time.

My biggest cringe is seeing road bike riders put their foot down; or drag their foot after a stop. The guy that taught me to ride said that was a cardinal sin; and I believe him.

I am proud to say that the FJR riders I photographed knew what they were doing.

I was mostly concerned for the Harley/cruiser bike guys; because some of them were waaay over their heads on this road.

Forgive the blurriness; this was from when I was trying to learn follow focus and tracking

I gotta say, three toilets is an amazing haul for a bike 😆
November 25, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Not to cast shade on 'busa riders; but every one I knew was more concerned with the stated horsepower and torque; and not so much on handling (or learning to handle a bike like that)

Chicken strips a mile wide

...although now I want to know how you know that

Never rode a bike with a sidecar before; but this conversion for my FJR attracted my interest once or twice... big-ass car tires, tho

...also wonder what it was like being a Deputy in this county; a 10-80 on this road is immediately going to be that much more hazardous

He did not wreck; but when I was up there photographing I always wondered if I was about to provide evidence for a fatality crash investigation

Walk a little ways down the hill from any curve on this loop, and you'll find bike and car parts from folks who went off the mountain
November 25, 2025 at 11:16 PM
Found this while looking for that... blurred, but I call it "OOoooooopsss..."

Wondering if this guy was a dirtbike rider before; but if you're putting your foot down on the road, you're already in too deep

Not necessarily a Ural; but sidecar on the Suches Loop in GA
