As someone who checks both, I tend to unfollow people who post the same content in both places because I only want to see it once. (Same with Facebook.)

All our sites run on Kinsta, including the huge Barn2 site which WP Engine couldn’t cope with (to be fair, this was years ago), and we’re very happy with them.

It does seem likely that motivations are different from what he’s saying because of simply makes no sense otherwise.

He’s only right if there’s no way to convince him to cooperate. The best outcome all round would be for him to start listening and cooperate.

I’m not saying that’s realistic, but it would be the best thing for WordPress.
