Lawyer. I make up songs about my dog and sing them to her. Sometimes I run into things.

DM for Signal info
My husband: What are you doing?

Me: Shh, I'm trying to understand what she (our dog) is thinking.

Proud of you, babe.

Thank you! She helped give me space in public. Things like: going through security, encountering a crowded hallway or elevator, standing in line, etc.

It helps that I work in civil rights with some lovely, understanding people.

She was also a very good girl on dozens of other occasions in courthouses. Stuck by my side and did her thing.

Not a fan or revolving doors or escalators. Otherwise, we were golden.

I once had her leash strapped around my chest, with my arms full of files, while I approached Loudon County Circuit Court.

There are so many squirrels outside of that courthouse.

I remember Callie stomping in place, conflicted, and then feeling like my feet had left the ground. Quite a scene.

She's a celebrity in several state courts in the area. She stood in line with me for many filings when I was a baby attorney.

This dog knows more than 100 words and seemingly forgot them all entirely without her vest on.

I will say, I used the fewest carde (5) in our group. Many used 10-15.

I am a simple lady with few layers.

The way we used them: sorting through and separating "me" from "not me" cards.

The hard part: Images of what you used to be, wish you were, or hope to be go in the "not me" pile.

It helps paint a picture of where you are now.

Condense duplicates, arrange in a way that feels right, & voila!

Nailed it! That's what they were. Thank you!!

I was so far off lol.

Although Identi-see is a great name, I should use that.

Maybe something clever, like "identi-see"? We used these in IOP. I'll look into it.

I am trying desperately to remember their name. It had all or part of the word "identity" in it.

Lost my step-dad unexpectedly earlier this month. It has been really hard. Thank you.
