Really pleased to see the Government recognise the need for a big Send training drive for schools.
We welcome the Government's announcement to invest £200 million in SEND training. This is a positive step towards a truly inclusive education system - giving every child the opportunity to play, learn, grow, and thrive. (1/5)

Huge thanks @yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social for truly listening to parents of children with Send today. The Government has a big opportunity to make Send support better and you have shown that families' experiences are the launch pad for those solutions.
Today, parents from our Wakefield Awareness Support Project and other Kids' services gave a powerful testimony to @yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social, speaking openly about the trauma and failure to listen and understand them and their children. Some spoke of having “no fight left in me.”
