She/her from Sheffield. Talks about tech and trans rights. Former NPM, Monzo, Canonical. Train, car & bike geek for ending car dependence. Greens for HS2 and LGBTIQA+ Greens. Co-organiser Front End North.
Also, as a member of Sheffield Greens, I was very disappointed that you were very vague about former members of Sheffield Greens trying to join YP.

Some of these people are really nasty, cruel, hateful people. Were they expelled from the party, or just the WhatsApp chats?

I’ve just listened to the interview and I’m not convinced. The Green Party is a democratic, member led, democratic socialist party. All members vote for policies. Zack does not make policies.

Your answers were incredibly naive.

We originally wanted to mount it on the wall, but there’s not enough space between our windows to mount it. The edges of the head unit would foul the edges of the window. We decided to mount it on the edge of the lawn instead.

Also, when asked about anti-trans former members of Sheffield Green Party trying to join YP, and were incredibly vague about whether those members were admitted to the party or expelled.

In the end they clarified that they were only removed from “the chats”. 🫤

Yeah, I suspect it’s market demands for lighter bikes that require less user maintenance after the bike leaves the shop, but I genuinely believe this is a dead-end for user experience.

Concrete slab was installed last week. That should provide a solid foundation for the head unit. Work begins to rip out the gas boiler tomorrow.

Sure, but the frequencies to Meadowhall on most days are 12 minutes. They should be better on Sundays and after hours.

Agree to disagree. I really like the seats on the Duewags. The Stadlers, not so much!
November 22, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Sure, I had a missing service yesterday so I ended up waiting 20 minutes, but mostly they’re okay
November 22, 2025 at 3:29 PM
Really? I would take any seat on the Duewags over the ones in my photo, and some of them are at platform level

This this this!

Also: conductors
November 22, 2025 at 3:14 PM
That’s slightly unfair, they’re every 12 minutes for most of the day. I agree they should be every 12 minutes *all day*.

Also, the NET stock isn’t much more accessible. I present these seats as my evidence:

Conductors make a massive difference. The old stock have more seats and they’re more spacious.
November 22, 2025 at 3:10 PM
I’m just glad it’s better than the NET.

I really want to do the thing where you buy an old mountain bike, slap some drop bars on it, and call it a winter gravel bike
